We might be in for an interruption any moment as its raining hard and even there's some lightning.

Its getting pretty hard now and hence the Umpires have decided to go off the field. The covers are quickly coming on. Stay tuned for the latest updates..

There's some bad news folks. The match has been called off before the cut off time as there is too much water-logging on the field. With that, India and Australia share 1 point each.

The journey from here on will be pretty much difficult for India as Pakistan from the group go through to the semis. Australia if they win or share points in their next match, they will go through and India will be out of the reckoning. For India to qualify to the semis, Pakistan will have to beat Australia first and then, India will know by what margin they need to win against West Indies. A washout in either of the matches will knock India out of the tournament.

After 18 months, India and Australia square off against each other at Tshwane, Centurion on Monday. This is a big match for both the teams. A win for Australia would place them in the semi-finals and knock India out while an Indian victory would make them prime contenders for a last-four berth considering they will meet a depleted West Indian team in their last game. Both teams had scratchy performances in their first match against their respective opponents. Australia may have won against the West Indies but they were given a run for their money by the opposition. India, on the other hand, lost to Pakistan, but not without a fight moving to third in Group A. Both India and Australia bowled poorly in their league matches. Keen contests to look out for would be Tendulkar-Johnson, Gambhir-Lee, Ponting-Sharma and Ponting-Harbhajan Singh. Ponting stands between the two teams as he has been extremely consistent this year in ODIs. Even in the previous game, it was his innings that set the tone for Australia. Both sides have won 4 games each at this venue. The last time they met at the Centurion, India were bowled out for 125 and lost by 9 wickets in 2003. Australia would be hoping that Clarke would be fit after missing Saturday's clash due to a sore back. India is expected to play five specialist bowlers, so Amit Mishra may get a chance.
