Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 1 wicket

What a thriller! Bangladesh win with 1 wicket and 6 balls to spare! After being put in to bat, Zimbabwe scored 221/9 in 50 overs. Bangladesh started off the chase badly with Tamim Iqbal getting retired hurt and Ashraful getting run-out. The middle-order tried to keep the hosts in the hunt but they kept losing wickets at crucial intervals. Mahmudullah and Naeem Islam added 69 for the sixth wicket and brought stability to the chase. However, Mahmudullah's run-out turned the tables once again leaving Bangladesh reeling at 187/9. But Naeem Islam stayed till the end and saw his team home with a clever unbeaten 73 of 90 balls. Mpofu(1), Chibhabha(2) and Matsikenyeri(2) were the wicket-takers for Zimbabwe with Matsikenyeri with 2/25 in 5 overs with the best pick. 3 run-outs in the innings but the hosts were lucky to get away with it.

NAEEM ISLAM IS NAMED MAN-OF-THE-MATCH FOR HIS UNBEATEN 73 IN 90 BALLS.

ABDUR RAZZAK IS NAMED THE MAN-OF-THE-SERIES.

Right then! Bangladesh have ended what was a very good series for them in style. They started off badly, losing the first match convincingly but came back in the rest. Zimbabwe, though, had been plagued by injuries and that affected their performance. Their batting depended on one or two batsmen and the rest never delivered. The bowling, was improving every match. Zimbabwe now head to South Africa for a two-match ODI series. Bangladesh win the 5-match series 4-1 and have now won three ODI series in a row! Till next time, GOOD BYE! TAKE CARE! ADIOS!
