Cape Cobras vs Otago Volts

Cape Cobras have registered their second win in the group phase beating the Otago Volts by 54 runs and they hence qualify for the next stage. Chasing 194, the Kiwi side were bowled out for 139 in 17.1 overs. They started well with Redmond and McCullum but the Cobras came back strongly, early enough, with some tidy bowling and fielding effort. Even some poor running between the wickets by the Otago side helped Cobras cause as there were three run outs in their innings. Nathan McCullum got going towards the end but it was a touch too late and he was hence out playing a rash shot. Stay tuned for the presentation news..

Andrew Puttick is awarded the Man of the Match for his scintillating century in the first innings. Dimitri Mascarenhas gets the award for being the most economical bowler.
