Hyderabad have secured a thumping victory over Delhi, having chased their 154 run target in 17.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. It was thanks to an incredible knock from Adam Gilchrist at the top of the order who scored 85 off just 35 balls taking them past the 100 run mark before even 10 overs were bowled. He left at a stage when his team needed less than 5.5 runs per over and the batsmen that followed ensured they did not choke at any stage. Delhi would be heart broken with the result but none of their bowlers had any answers to the way Gilchrist was batting. Hyderabad have become the first finalists of the tournament.
