Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets
Delhi Daredevils
Mumbai Indians
Delhi struck with two wickets in the first over and from then on it was always goin to be an uphill task for Mumbai to claw their way back into the match. Changes in batting positions did not work for Sachin Tendulkar. The only worthwhile partnership came from the bats of Dwayne Bravo and Abhishek Nayar who put on 57 runs for the fifth wicket. Before and after that it was Delhi all the way. 116 looks like an easily achievable target considering the batting arsenal Delhi posses. Mumbai will have to play out of their skins to win this one.

Sacin Tendulkar won the toss for Mumbai and they have elected to bat first. Jayasuriya is left out of the side to make way for Luke Ronchi.
Delhi retain the same side. Still no Sehwag.
Delhi have had the best start to this year's IPL as we move on to the second half of the tournament. 5 wins and 2 losses sees them sitting in 2nd place having played a game fewer than all the other teams. Surprisingly, they've had no starts from Gambhir and Sehwag and have relied more on the services of AB DeVilliers, Dilshan and Karthik to contribute with the bat. No McGrath used so far, but Dirk Nannes, Ashish Nehra and Daniel Vettori have done phenomenally well to ensure that Delhi keep the opposition batsmen under control. Mumbai for their part are on a disappointing run of form, losing their last 3 games in poor fashion. They have looked out of sorts even after being in commanding positions and have thrown away their advantage more than once. Jayasuriya seems to have found his touch just as Tendulkar looks to have lost his and none of the middle order bar Duminy has made any significant contribution so far. They will hope Zaheer is fit to play this game as he missed the last one due to a shoulder injury. Mumbai are 2nd last in the table and a win is absolutely imperative if they are to make the top 4 come the end of the league stage.
