Australia have beaten England by 4 wickets, finishing with 302/6 in 48.2 overs. With this they take a 5-0 lead in the series. It was an amazing run chase and leading by example was non other than skipper, Ricky Ponting who scored 126 off 109 balls, reaching his 27th ODI century in the process. He was supported well by Michael Clarke as the two added 139 for the third wicket. They could have found themselves in a spot of bother when Clarke and Hussey went in quick succession followed by Ferguson and Ponting. But White and Johnson made sure they struck a few lusty blows towards the end and finished it off with 10 balls to spare. England would be disappointed that they were unable to defend 300 and would know, they have a lot of work to do if they are to make any impression at the Champions Trophy in South Africa.
