Netherlands beat England by 4 wickets

What an opening game! Netherlands clinch a thrilling 4 wicket win in the first game of the World T20 tournament against England. Netherlands looked in the game right from the start with most of the players contributing to the teams cause. But it was Tom de Grooth whose innings of 49 off 30 balls worked in the end. Ryan ten Doeschate(22*) stayed there till the end to ensure his side was safely home. England will be quite disappointed having lost on their home turf and that too from a side considered as minnow. They had as many as 5 run out options in the last over but failed to convert even a single one under pressure. Stay tuned for the presentations news...

The first Man of the Match and it is Tom de Grooth for his match winning knock in the Netherlands run chase. Netherlands have a great way ahead and will look to make this win count. England on the other hand have a tough task in hand as they face the last years finalist Pakistan in the next game, which they need to win to survive in the contest.
