England vs Pakistan

England make a strong reply back as they defeat Pakistan comfortably by 48 runs to stay in the tournament for now. Posting a huge total on the board they started nicely taking one of the openers early. Salman Butt and Shoaib Malik did get going at one stage but took quite a lot time with regards to the required rate. Skipper Younus Khan stayed there till the end trying hard enough to get something but fell short of balls and partners at the other end. It was an excellent bowling performance from the England bowlers giving away nothing even after having that many runs to defend. Stuart Broad was the stand out performer with his consistent bowling performance bagging three wickets in the end. Stay tuned we will bring you the news from the presentation area..

There were a couple of contenders for the Man of the Match but it was awarded to Luke Wright for an all round performance in England's win. A handy knock with the bat, couple of wickets and couple of good catches as well. He seems to be enjoying this format.
