Comprehensive win for Australia! They have won by 6 wickets with 49 balls to spare and have won the series with one match to go, gaining an unassailable 4-2 lead. 170 did look a competitive total on this track, but Australia managed to haul it comfortably. India started their innings with a huge six from Sehwag but then, lost too many wickets too quickly and managed 170 courtesy some brave batting by the lower middle order. Chasing 171, Australia lost Marsh early, but Watson and Ponting steadied the innings with a 61-run stand. There were a few hiccups in the middle, but partnership of 53 between Hussey and White for the fourth wicket sealed the match. In the end, Hussey saw his team through. Watson was the top-scorer with 49. For India, the opening bowlers did not start off well. Munaf Patel was the first wicket-taker. Then, the spinners took control but the target of 170 was not enough for their exploits. Raina picked up a wicket as well while Harbhajan Singh was the best bowler with 2/23 in 10 overs.
