As expected India put up a convincing show and reach the total without much of problems. They complete an 8 wicket win against Ireland in the last group match of the tournament. The chased down the total of 113 om just 15.3 overs. The openers provided a solid start and did most of the job for the side before Gambhir departed. Rohit Sharma did play through and ensured his side was safely through. The Ireland bowlers will have to work out a bit and get things right for them as it was not an expected performance by them. Zaheer Khan is adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance ending with figures off 4 for 19 in his 3 overs. He has proved his fitness and looks at his best once again; good news for India.
