Mumbai have done remarkably well to restrict Hyderabad to 168/9 in their 20 overs. Gibbs started off with a superb 58 at the top and with Gilchrist (35) and D.Smith (35), looked like taking the team score over 200. A superb fightback from Malinga (3/19), Harbhajan (1/27) and Bravo (3/34) who stopped the runs and took wickets at frequent intervals leaves Mumbai with a fighting chance in this match. The boundaries are short and their batting line-up is very strong. It should be a superb chase.

Hyderabad won the toss and Adam Gilchrist has chosen to bat first.
Hyderabad have got off to a perfect start in this year's IPL, winning their first two games and setting the pace for the rest of the teams. With Gilchrist and Gibbs at the top of the order and Rohit Sharma, Laxman and Styris in the middle performing very well, they boast one of the strongest batting line ups of all the teams. Fidel Edwards and RP Singh have impressed with the ball as well and overall they look a very competitive unit. Mumbai are another team that have started well as compared to last season. Jayasuriya, Tendulkar, Nayar and Duminy at the top with Zaheer, Harbhajan and Malinga performing superbly, they will be a good bet to reach the semi-finals this time after narrowly missing out last time. This game, between two strong teams, will be crucial for both teams to maintain momentum and move up the table.
