Pakistan vs New Zealand

Impressive Pakistan have won the first T20 encounter by 49 runs reducing New Zealand to 112 in 18.3 overs chasing 162. New Zealand were just nine wickets down as injured Redmond did not walk out to bat. The Pakistani bowlers did well right from the start, picking up wickets at regular intervals. The Kiwis never really recovered and kept on losing wickets as their chase went forward. Neither of their batsmen made an effort to stay at the wicket with debutant Watling and N.McCullum ending as top scorers with just 22. For Pakistan, Aamer, Razzaq, Afridi and Ajmal all bagged a couple of wickets while Tanvir picked up one. Hang on for the presentation news..
