Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Cape Cobras

The Cape Cobras have won the opening match of the Champions League T20 by five wickets having finished with 184 for 5 in 19.4 overs. They got off to a poor start, losing Gibbs and Puttick early. But JP Duminy led their fight and scored an unbeaten 99 off just 52 balls, single handedly taking the Cobras home. None of the bowlers could contain him and were taken for runs all around the wicket. The Champions League could not have gotten off to a better start. Over 360 runs were scored in the match and it went absolutely down to the wire.

JP Duminy has been deservingly adjudged Man of the Match for his unbeaten 99 to take the Cobras home.

Charl Langeveldt gets the Super Saver Bowler award. He conceded only 12 runs off his three overs with one wicket.
